In Round 4 of the Belgiorno Cup, Sharks travel to Malseed Park to take on the Blue Lake Rangers.

The Sharks needed a win here to ensure that they would finish in the top two in Group B and qualify for semi finals later in the year.
Sharks were coming into this game full of confidence, after their comprehensive win against Millicent last week.
It didn’t take long for the action to start, and it was the blues that had first opportunity to score.
(5min) Referee Nathan Butler awarded a penalty to Thompson, who appeared to be obstructed by Sharks defender.
Thompson tried to place the ball in the corner of the goal and missed, shooting the ball wide of the goal, much relief to the Sharks.
The game sea-sawed from end to end, with both teams eager to get the first goal.
(12min) Blue Lake manage to break through Sharks defence , when #12 (M Vujica) received a through ball, and calmly slotted it past a diving Fuller to give the Rangers the lead. 0-1
Tempers started to flare amoungst the Sharks team, and the defence looked very vulnerable, with players playing out of position.
An early change was made by Sharks coach Bruttomesso, with an ‘upset’ Damien Stemberger being substituted for Brendon Bytheway.
The Sharks defence was now reorganized with a flat back four structure of Nunan, Widdison, Nzeakor & Bytheway with Wood playing in a defensive midfield.
Even though the scoreline was in the blues favour, the Sharks still continued to attack, with Weistra many times breaking wide, and causing headaches for the Rangers defence.
The inspirational Tobbei Kennet from the Sharks was outstanding, trying to rally his team mates to remain calm, and himself displaying excellent dribbling skills taking on many players in his path, but could not quite finish off his impressive display.
Just before half time, Sharks suffered another casualty with Ryan Tobin who was suffering from a gastro bug was too unwell to continue.
This forced another substitution with live wire Jason Brooks coming on to replace Tobin.
Half time score Blue Lake Rangers lead the Sharks 1-0.
The break gave an opportunity for the Sharks to regroup and Bruttomesso encouraged his players to put more pressure on their opposition to try and force turnovers.
(66min)Matt Weistra was taken down in the box on a brilliant individual dash.
Weistra made no mistake forcing Amandi the opposite way. 1-1
The Sharks now could sense a chance, as the Rangers were certainly playing well.
(70min) Tobbei Kennett scores the goal of the year when a free kick was awarded to Weistra, who was fouled approx 40yds out from goal.
Kennett struck a well timed and powerful shot through the gap in the wall, which hit the inside of the post, and ricoshed into the back of the net. Sharks lead 2-1.
Sharks defence were on guard as the Rangers speed star Tristen Guess was now the target for the blues counter attack, but the Sharks held strong with Widdison playing at his best.
(75min) Another free kick awarded to the Sharks 40 yds out.
Heath Widdison stepped up, and almost converted, the ball going over the cross bar, it would have been goal of the match.
(80min) Sharks reduced to 10 men as Matt Gordon was sent off, after receiving his second yellow card.
The Sharks made a final substitute bringing experienced Parsons on and giving Brooks another rest.
There was plenty action at both ends of the ground with Sharks Weistra & Stemberger almost sealing the game with several solo runs.
Guess and Thomson had several chances to change the game, but keeper Norton Fuller took care of business protecting his goal.
The match ended and the score finished 2-1 for the Sharks.
