It has been an amazing day for Callum Ferguson today after he was called into the Melbourne Heart squad for the exhibition game against the Loddon Mallee Lightning. The game provided Ferguson with the opportunity to impress the Heart's coaching staff from a unique perspective and during his 25 minutes on the park he showed he has what it takes to mix it in the elite league. In an ironic twist of fate, 18 year old Ferguson came on in the second half to replace the second Mount Gambier player on the Heart roster on the night, Josip Skoko.
