The World Game returns live tonight‏



The World Game returns tonight with our expert team bringing you all the latest from the FIFA U20 World Cup in Colombia, where Australia's Young Socceroos are vying with Spain, Ecuador and Costa Rica for a place in the second round.

Remember you can watch every Young Socceroos match live on SBS and streamed live online, as well as all the action from the semi-finals onwards. The panel will also review the FIFA Women's World Cup and FIFA U17 World cup, before taking a look at the German and French leagues, which begin this week.

Harmony Day - Everyone Belongs


Harmony Day is celebrated around Australia on 21 March each year. It's a day where all Australians celebrate our cultural diversity. The day is also the United Nation's International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination. SBS -- Your UEFA Champions League home‏


UEFA Champions League season begins on SBS

You can enjoy more choice of football matches than ever before on SBS when the network showcases up to 10 UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League games a match week.

Catch the games LIVE, delayed and replayed across SBS ONE and SBS TWO, or watch the video highlights online at The World Game.

For the first time on SBS, the UEFA Champions League play-offs will kick-off the new season broadcast LIVE from 4.30am AEST on Wednesday 19th August when Celtic play Arsenal.

Also on SBS is the one-off clash between reigning European club champions, Barcelona and Shakhtar, LIVE from Monaco. Watch the UEFA Super Cup on Saturday 29 August from 4.30am AEST.

To wrap up the week of football Les Murray and Craig Foster will review the action on the pitch in the UEFA Champions League Hour. Football fans can catch up on all the action in the UEFA Europa League Highlights, UEFA Champions League Magazine program and Les Murray’s Football Feature during the three hours of football programming on Sunday afternoons from 3pm.

The Local Game returns to SBS Radio!

Don’t miss our live national weekly football program The Local Game, when it returns to SBS Radio on Monday August 10 at 5.30pm.

SBS Radio’s Attila Mosonyi will co-host alongside The World Game’s Scott McIntyre and Vitor Sobral; providing expert coverage, commentary and analysis of all the 2009-10 A-League season.

The Local Game team will review and preview each weekend’s A-League action; as well covering the Women’s League and National Youth League matches.
