Peter Zoïs is an Australian footballer who was released by Willem II Tilburg in 2007.Zoïs is a goalkeeper who was born in Melbourne and made his debut in professional football in his native Australia, being move to Holland and being part of the NAC Breda squad in the 1999-2000 season and joining Willem II in 2003. He also had a spell in England, playing for Purfleet.
Zois also spent a short spell at Cardiff City, being brought in on a trial period due to an injury to Jon Hallworth.
He has represented Australia at all youth representative levels and holds an EU (Greek) passport. Peter is currently on trial with the Newcastle Jets who are looking for a replacement for current keeper Ante Covic.
We are currently in discussions with Peter's management to bring him to Mount Gambier for a goalkeeping and coaching session in early May. Stay tuned for more details.
