Ernest 'Ernie' Merrick (born 3 January 1953 in Scotland) is the Scottish-Australian head coach for the Australian A-League football (soccer) team, Melbourne Victory.
The Victory won the 2006-07 A-League Premiership, 12 points clear of second placed Adelaide United. Melbourne faced Adelaide in the A-League Grand Final at the Telstra Dome on 18 February, winning the match 6-0 with Archie Thompson scoring an incredible five goals.

Vitale Ferrante is a director of the Fun Sports Group – innovative sports programs that use enjoyment, unique apparatus and positive coaching to provide its participants with a fun approach to physical activity and a positive social experience. Introduced into Australia in 2003 by former Manchester United star Jesper Olsen and with over 200,000 participants so far, the Fun Sports programs have proved enormously successful for individuals, children and adults, and corporations across Australia. Along with Olsen, Ferrante heads up the Fun Football division. Fun Football’s School Holiday Program is the largest grass roots program in Victoria. Ferrante was also a former soccer player, and played for the Preston Lions in the National Soccer League as well as Altona Magic and Fawkner Blues in the Victorian Premier League. He also coached Pascoe Vale in the Victorian State League.
