Adelaide United FC's Scott Jamieson, Eugene Galekovic and Michael Marrone will be the guests of honor this weekend as part of the Red Quest that will be held at South Gambier Football Club on Saturday Night, 6 June 2009.
The three Red Stars will be in Mount Gambier and will make a special appearance at the State Championships on 6 & 7 June 2009.
The Red Quest will be held at South Gambier Football Club and will provide the opportunity for all juniors taking part, both boys and girls, to test their skills against the boys from Adelaide.
"We are really excited about the Red Quest and are keen to take a look at the local talent" Jamieson said.
"We have all taken part in tournaments like this and aware of how much they mean to the players involved. Saturday night should be good fun and we are looking forward to providing some entertainment".
The Red Quest will provide the opportunity for any player involved in the State Championships to nominate to make the Top 10. The Top 10 will then compete head to head to see who will take out The Red Quest.
"The Quest is an elimination style game show that will see players challenge themselves and one another. We have several tests set up and players will be eliminated until we have one player left. The winner will take out The Red Quest and will win a signed Adelaide United replica ball, by Head Coach, Aurelio Vidmar and Team Captain, Travis Dodd"
All members of the top 10 will take home prizes and there will be plenty of opportunities to receive giveaways, get autographs and photos by the AUFC stars.
The United boys will act as judges and monitor the progress of the Top 10 as they juggle, run and compete for the honor of Red Quest Champion.
Doors will open at 7.00 and the competition will commence at 7.15pm.
To register your interest in the Red Quest players are asked to text their name, age and playing position to Red Phone 0407 577 880.
