Road to World Cup begins with the FIFA Confederations Cup

While the country celebrates the Socceroos' ticket to the 2010 FIFA World Cup, football fans can rejoice as SBS continues to bring the biggest international football events to Australian audiences.
This June, 12 months out from the 2010 World Cup, reigning World Champions Italy, Brazil, European Champions Spain, Iraq, Egypt, New Zealand, South Africa and USA will descend on South Africa for the best football tournament in 2009, the FIFA Confederations Cup.
SBS will broadcast all matches from South Africa on free-to-air television.
