After three days of muddy competition at the Blue Lake Sports Park, the SA Junior Soccer Association State Championship was declared a success during trophy presentations yesterday afternoon.
Teams from the North West dominated the competition, with three sides placing first and two coming in second.
However, the Western Border Soccer Association was highly represented in the league with an Under 15 boys’ victory, while the Under 16 boys and Under 13 girls came runners up.
Under 15 team manager Martin Walker said the side had worked hard and deserved the win.

Under 11 winners - North West, runner up - Norlunga and Districts Junior Soccer Association (NDJSA);
