Ireland make the World (Fussball) Cup!‏

Righting the injustices of world football, FourFourTwo and Carlsberg are allowing Ireland to compete in the World Cup - the World Fussball Cup that is...

Teaming up with our pals at Star City, the World Fussball Cup will feature every team qualified for the 2010 World Cup finals... except France, who will be replaced by Ireland after the heinous handball episode by Thierry Henry.

Held at Star City's Sports Theatre and Bar on Thursday 28 January from 6pm, the WFC will pit 32 two person table football teams battling it out in eight groups to make it into the knockout stage.

And you and a friend could be taking part too! As well as having the glory of being able to call your self the World Fussball Cup champions, there will be drink promotions, celebrity teams, prizes and a host of other good stuff taking place.

If you want to be a team in the World Fussball Cup, email fussball@fourfourtwo.net.au and we'll inform you if you're one of the lucky 32 teams.
