2010 Round 12 Preview: North Geelong Warriors vs St Albans Saints
After last week’s 2 – 1 home loss to Pascoe Vale the Warriors will be looking to bounce back against our friends from St Albans.

The Saints impressively slotted 4 goals past Malvern and managed to end their run of draws, while the Warriors were forced into changing almost half the team due to overseas trips, injury and suspension.

The Warriors proudly debuted 3 players from it’s under 21 squad, Callum Ferguson, William Nack and Michael Boyar as well as new signing Antun Vulic.

The young brigade did extremely well and were unlucky as they created a lot of chances but were denied by some brilliant keeping as well as a handball that wasn’t paid.

None the less both teams will be surging for the advantage and if the first encounter this year is anything to go by then we know that the game will go right to the wire.

Half time will see under9(s playing Small Sided match, stand back and watch our future stars enjoy a game. Please keep of the pitch to let the players enjoy the atmosphere of the night.

In the theme of the world cup, we draw upon the talents that North Geelong and St Albans have provided the Australian and International teams, so what better way to celebrate that than to have a Post Match Party?

After the match the DJ will kick into gear at around 11pm and on our new BIG Samsung Plasma kindly donated by Elsworthy’s Retravision, we’ll have Netherlands vs Brazil in Quarter Final action of the World Cup.
