AUSSIES ABROAD: Ex-Socceroo Josip Skoko could end his time with Hajduk Split with some silverware after the Croatian giants defeated rivals Dinamo Zagreb 1-0 to reach the domestic cup final.
The 34-year-old Australian midfielder, who is rumoured to be joining Melbourne Heart when his contract in Croatia expires in May, played a full game for Hajduk in the 1-0 victory in Split.
The result, courtesy of Senijad Ibricic's 51st minute strike, gave Hajduk a 1-0 aggregate win over Dinamo in their semi-final tie and they will now face NK Sibenik (4th in Prva HNL) in the final.
Skoko's Hajduk have had an ordinary league campaign this season sitting out of the title race in fifth, but some cup glory will salvage something for them.
