Millicent Played Apollo at Wier Street Mount Gambier
on Sunday 30th May 2010
Once again Millicent go down 5 games to Nil
A Grade Millicent took the lead in the 11th minute
when Brendon Robertson found the net
The lead did not last Apollo equalise at the 12th minute
only a minute later
Millicents reserve keeper Bradley Gardenier
made some good saves during the game but
at times had trouble with a very slippery ball
and Apollo went ahead in the 16th Minute
and added their third goal at the 44th Minute

Just after the break Brendon Robertson found the keeper
off his line passed the ball behind the keeper scored
another goal. Reducing the deficet to Apollo 3 Millicent 2
Referee said this was an Own Goal.
But with some players playing their second game of the day
the pressure became too much and Apollo added goals
at the 60th and 65th minute.
Millicent players played a very determined game
and may produce a win next week against Centrals.
Millicent slowed down allowing Apollo to score
their 6th goal at the 88th minute.
