MELBOURNE Heart admit they are hoping to tempt one of the Brazilian greats to the A-League in the form of veteran striker Ronaldo.
The A-League new boys admit that initial contact has been made with regards to a possible deal.
Heart chief executive Scott Munn told The Daily Telegraph: "We're in the embryonic stages at the moment.
"We're aware that his current contract is nearing the end and we have had some contact and conversations with relation to Ronaldo and a possible stint with us."
The 33-year-old is is currently playing for Corinthians in Brazil. The former World Cup winner would be a huge name for the A-League but is also expected to come with a hefty price tag.
