Our final newsletter of 2010 is a real Christmas cracker! To kick-us off, we'd like to introduce our Fan of the Week, Fox Sports presenter and football commentator extraordinaire, Mel McLaughlin. Not only has Mel played football herself she has been the producer of Football Superstars and spends most of her weekends sideline at the Hyundai A-League interviewing star players. Mel is a passionate supporter of women's football and has some great insights on the game.

On to the juicy stuff… the football. If you're a Sydney-Sider, forget the New Year's fireworks, the Westfield W-League is throwing its own spectacle on New Year's Day, when Sydney FC take on Brisbane Roar at Campbelltown Stadium! Women's football in Australia doesn't get any better than this, as fans are spoilt with a rematch of last year's grand final!
