This week on the show we will be playing a prerecorded interview with Greig Robinson who we caught up with this week.
Greig Robertson will lead the 4 coaches leading the education programme for Celtic in Australia. Greig is the International Academy Development Officer and Youth Academy Coach for Celtic and is working extensively in Asia currently.
Greig has worked at Celtic since 2003 and so has been a key architect of Celtics programme of youth development and talent ID and management. In his time at Celtic he has worked throughout the club all of which have informed his current role as the International Academy Development Officer and Youth Academy Coach.
In this role Greig is tasked with developing strong working relationship with clubs and associations globally focusing on key elements such as coach education, player development, talent id, tournament / tours and parent education. Given the growth and potential of the Asian Football Confederation Greig has spent considerable time working throughout Asia from the Middle East to India and now Australia developing and assessing the skills of coaches throughout the region.
In his role with Celtic he works with junior elite squads focusing on technique, game / spatial awareness and tactical aspects of the game.
