Position Available: FFA Technical Department Administrator

Football Federation Australia (FFA), the national governing body for football in Australia, is currently seeking a Technical Department Administrator to join its Coach Education team in Sydney. This is a new position which has been created in response to the expansion of the FFA’s Advanced Coach Education programs and the subsequent increase in administrative duties. The person who fills this role will play a key role in the successful delivery of the training programs.
Duties & Responsibilities:
The specific duties and responsibilities of the role include:
· Assisting with the co-ordination and organisation of the Advanced Coaching training courses
· Holding responsibility for the course equipment and coaching apparel; keeping an accurate inventory, conducting stock takes, ordering, packing and distributing the gear. This will involve some manual heavy lifting.
· Attending the training courses and providing assistance throughout the course, this could involve photocopying material, organising catering, administration throughout the day and even filming of the sessions
· Printing and collating resources for the training courses
· Booking travel for people within the team
· Credit Card reconciliations for the National Coach Education Manager & Advanced Coaching Manager
· Providing general administrative support to the Technical Department Co-ordinator
Experience and skills required:
· Excellent organisational skills
· Intermediate level skills for Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel & PowerPoint
· Demonstrated initiative for new ways of working and contribution of ideas
· An understanding of the correct way to manually lift heavy items & an ability to manually lift heavy items
· Bubbly and friendly personality
· A ‘can do attitude’
· Fantastic customer service skills
· Ability to multi task
· A love of the game of football is desirable but not essential
· This role may involve evening and weekend work and travel to various different locations so the candidate must be able to be flexible with their working arrangements
